Following the special trip to London we travelled up North to Costa del Manchester! Glorious weather, great 5 Star company and mini adventures!
We even did a Guiness Book of World Records tour…
This was in Stalybridge which has two known entries in the Guiness Book of Records for 1995 – the pubs with the longest and shortest names in the United Kingdom! The longest named is: “The Old Thirteenth Cheshire Astley Volunteer Rifleman Corps Inn”, on Astley Street, and the shortest is: The “Q” Inn, on Market Street!
It also has a fabulous bar at the train station serving great real ale!
